As the scope of the Marvel Cinematic Universe expands throughout Phase 3, we can expect that we’ll begin to see the varying sides of the comic book universe begin to rear their heads. Already, the earth side of Marvel has been mined to great extent with the majority of their MCU movies, and the galactic side has been opened up with Guardians of the Galaxy. While there’s still plenty of stories and characters to be culled from both of these areas of the universe, there’s one side that has yet to be seen on film: the magical and mystical side....

BBC has just released a new logo design and poster artwork for Doctor Who season 11. Following the Christmas Special debut of Jodie Whittaker in the titular role, the 55-year-running series about a time and space-traveling alien will return in the fall, and its new logo appears to be ushering in the future, while also nodding to the past. Doctor Who is one of the longest-running television series in history, debuting all the way back in November 1963....

Doctor Who started its 12th season by mocking the fan reaction to a female Doctor. After a year long hiatus, Doctor Who returned with Jodie Whittaker at the helm of the TARDIS for her second season. Doctor Strange 2 may not be officially confirmed by Marvel yet, but the MCU sequel is reported to be in development. The first Doctor Strange movie was a reasonable success for Marvel, but it was the appearance of Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange in Avengers: Infinity War that really helped fans to warm to the character, and doubtless convinced Kevin Feige that the demand for a sequel was there. A Doctor Strange 2 would likely reunite Cumberbatch with director Scott Derrickson and co-stars Chiwetel Ejiofor (Mordo) and Benedict Wong (Wong)....

The Doctor has had more companions than you can count on Doctor Who, and it’s natural that he would be guilty of being unfair to some of them over the years. Likewise, as his companions have been far less experienced than him, they’ve been known to make big mistakes themselves. Doctor Who’s Tesla adventure was a fun episode with plenty of heart, but it also created a plot hole for season 12.
